September 16, 2011

Tonight we are staying in Bethlehem, PA. We are tired. After 381 miles on I81 and I78, the bed is looking better all the time. There were lots of trucks, aggressive driving and little else to look at other than the highway. We didn't take many photos. However, one place did stand out we found in Shartlesville, PA, and it is connected to our sign of the day.

Haag's Hotel and Restaurant is a small hotel/restaurant that dates back to 1915. It is a beautiful old stone building on Main street. The reviews range from 2-4 stars out of 5. The sign is very interesting in that it advertises "Creative Cuisine". We decided to try our luck a little farther down the road!!

Tomorrow we will be visiting the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown, PA and the Timexpo in Waterbury, CT. Our destination will be Auburn, MA.

  1. Haag's might not be the best way to start out on a vacation, probably just as well to pass on by.
